We're headed to the beach tomorrow so I'll see you guys back here on Monday July 6th. Hope you have a Happy 4th of July & be safe!! {{Hugs}}

Friday's Feature

First, I have several lucky winners to announce. The winner of the bracelet from Beadalicious Jewelry by Danica is #34 Cheryl
The winners of the 2 "Busy Mom's Devotions To Go" Books are #3 Monica Jensen & #19 Ed
Congrats!

Today I am featuring Baby Bug Creations. Ashley Beal is the owner of Baby Bug Creations & she makes Diap & Wipe Cases, Wet Bags, Nursing Covers, tutus, & much more! She was kind enough to send me a pair of Bug Legs to review. These were not around when my kids were small & I think they are a wonderful idea! With my little one on the way I look forward to getting lots more use out of these. Bug Legs can be used under pants to prevent gapping & wind getting to the baby, with just a diaper for quicker diaper changes or under a skirt for added cuteness! These are so great for middle of the night diaper changes with newborns! They're also great for when your little one is crawling on the carpet- they protect their little knees from rug burns! They will fit most babies from NB-2yrs, depending on the chunkiness. ~wink~

What I like about the Bug Legs:
1. They protect baby's knees when crawling.
2. They are long enough to cover even the longest little legs.
3. They are functional, yet cute at the same time.
4. Lots of fabrics to choose from.

What I didn't like about Bug Legs:
1. Nothing, they are too cute!

Ashely's inspiration for Baby Bug Creations:
"When I was pregnant with my 2nd son, I wanted to stay home with my boys but finances wouldn't allow it. I knew if I wanted to be able to be a "stay at home mom" I needed to find something to do to bring in some extra income. While I was debating what to do, a close friend whom I had made letters for suggested I see what people thought of personalized letters. & That's where it all began!

What I do:
I create personalized custom items for moms & babies- if you need something to spruce up the nursery or want boutique quality items but can't afford the outrageous prices. That's what I am here for! Everything on my site also makes a great gift for new parents or for the mom-to-be. Who doesn't like getting a unique gift?"

A Tuesday Giveaway

I am doing Win It Wednesday a day early this week. I will be out of town next week for 1 last family vacation, as a family of 4! One last trip to the beach before the baby comes. Woo hoo!

Today I am giving away 2 copies of the "Busy Mom's Devotions To Go". I received some copies to review & would like to share them with you!

The "Busy Moms' Devotions To Go" is a cute little book that you could take just about anywhere with you. It has 30 devotions and each is just a few short pages. I have already enjoyed reading mine. You can check them out at EDM Bookstore.com or Extreme Diva Media.com.

What I like about "Busy Moms' Devotions To Go":
1. It's small enough to fit in your purse or take on the go.
2. The devos are short so you can squeeze in some time w/ God when you're on the go. Of course, don't neglect time w/ God in prayer each day, but these are great little moments w/ God to spend each day!
3. Easy to read & super cute cover!
4. Would make a great gift.

What I didn't like about Busy Moms' Devotions To Go:
1. Nothing. I love it!

Mom Spit

I gave away a Mom Spit Kit a couple of weeks ago & also had the opportunity to review one. At first I wasn't quite sure how much I would use it, but it has come in handy several times & I love it! I was in a waiting room a couple of weeks ago getting my brakes worked on. I am sure you know that brake & tire places are usually not very clean or child-friendly. Sure enough, my 3 yr old got down in the floor & his hands were black from dirt. Mom Spit to the rescue! I whipped it out, squirted (too much), and his hands were clean as a whistle!

Here is the inspiration behind Mom Spit:
"The inspiration for Mom Spit comes from life, kids and dirt:) Of course, from the original when our mothers tried to clean us up while on the go.
Lucie Hunter and Kim Dixon

Their business minds reconnected over a few cosmos by the pool and they decided to create a company they could build together, and a product that they would love and needed. Being road warriors, businesswomen and adventurers their activities continued with children in tow, and their mutual passion for fabulous bath and body products is legendary. They're connected 24/7 with laptops and blackberries, and MomSpit is always with them."

What I like about Mom Spit:

1. They come in handy 2 oz bottles. Great for travel or your purse.

2. They come in different scents & offer unscented as well.

3. It works!

4. It doesn't take much so the bottle will last a long time.

5. The name is too cute & original!

What I didn't like about Mom Spit:

1. Nothing! It really is a cool product.

Father's Day Gift Ideas

More creative Father's Day Gift Ideas.....

Stacey from Thrifty Chick sent me her home-made, personalized family yahtzee game tutorial. How fun & original!
For my hubby's b-day I got him a book of our 2008 blog from Blurb. It may be too late to get one in time, but I highly recommend Blurb.
And here are a few more ideas:
1. Have the kids make him cards. My hubby would love this!
2. Burn a CD of his favorite tunes.
3. Plan a Family Day... whatever he would like to do. Or just some quality family time!
4. Let the kids make him some coupons for free hugs, a car wash, etc. You can find some free printable coupons here: All Free Printables
and here: Coupons
5. Attend a minor league sports game.
6.Plant a tree. Just because it's Father's Day, doesn't mean you can't do something good for Mother Nature. Find a spot in your yard and plant a tree in dad's honor.

I hope you enjoy this Father's Day weekend!
